Designer / FF&E Design Manager Responsibilities: Management of the architectural and interior design documents from signature architects for all phases (concept to tender) associated with interior finishes, details, FF&E and signage to ensure that the documentation is applicable, complete and accurate. Direct, guide and inform consultants to ensure client and cultural issues are incorporated in all phases. Evaluate consultants FF&E and signage tender submissions and ensure that the proposals are in accordance with the contract requirements. Facilitate the tender process for FF&E packages with a value of $10million to $35million each. Present methods and strategies to the client for implementing LEED on the Student Housing and Convention Center projects with a total built area of 110,000sq.m. Responsible for managing the mock-up and evaluation process of a modular wall system design and procurement for a 600 room Student Housing project. Temporary head LEED manager for the 70,000sq.m. Convention Center expansion project during construction. Attend meetings with the team and guiding them on best practices for achieving certification. Projects: Education City, an initiative of the Qatar Foundation, aims to be the center of educational excellence in the region.
